Italian Herb & Cheese
Crusted Tilapia
Panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, herbs and spices in this Crusting
Blend add up to crispy crusted tilapia your family will love.
1 pound tilapia fillets
1/3 cup McCormick Italian Herb & Cheese Crusting Blend
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Brush fish fillets with oil. Coat evenly on both sides with Crusting
Blend. Place on foil-lined shallow baking pan. Discard any remaining
Crusting Blend.
3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Skillet Directions: Moisten 1 pound tilapia fillets lightly with water.
Coat evenly on both sides with 1/3 cup McCormick® Italian Herb & Cheese
Crusting Blend. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in large nonstick skillet on
medium-low heat. Add fillets. Cook 5 minutes per side or until fish
flakes easily with a fork. Add additional 1 tablespoon oil as needed.
Italian Herb Chicken
Parmesan
Preparing Chicken Parmesan will now be a snap with Italian Herb & Cheese
Crusting Blend. Use convenient jarred spaghetti sauce. Or, prepare an
extra batch of Chunky Tomato Sauce to use in this recipe.
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts halves (about 1 1/4 pounds)
1 tablespoon oil
1/3 cup McCormick Italian Herb & Cheese Crusting Blend
1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend or mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Brush chicken with oil. Coat evenly on both sides with Crusting
Blend. Place on foil-lined shallow baking pan. Discard any remaining
Crusting Blend.
3. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Top each chicken breast with 2
tablespoons each of the sauce and the cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or
until cheese is melted and chicken is cooked through. Serve with
spaghetti and additional sauce, if desired.
French Onion, Pepper & Herb
Crusted Pork
Use French Onion, Pepper & Herb Crusting Blend on bone-in or boneless
pork chops. Cook it in a skillet or in the oven for added flexibility.
1 pound boneless pork chops
1/3 cup McCormick French Onion, Pepper & Herb Crusting Blend
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Brush pork chops with oil. Coat evenly on both sides with Crusting
Blend. Place on foil-lined shallow baking pan. Discard any remaining
Crusting Blend.
3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until pork is desired doneness.
Skillet Directions: Moisten 1 pound boneless pork chops (1/2-inch
thick), lightly with water. Coat evenly on both sides with 1/3 cup
McCormick® French Onion, Pepper & Herb Crusting Blend. Heat 2
tablespoons oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-low heat. Add pork
chops. Cook 5 minutes per side or until pork chops are browned and
cooked to desired doneness. Add additional 1 tablespoon oil as needed.
Almond Crusted Fish
Almonds add nutty crunch and flavor to crusted fish fillets. Choose
tilapia or salmon to suit your family’s tastes.
1/4 cup McCormick Garlic, Lemon & Rosemary Crusting Blend
1/4 cup finely chopped almonds
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 pound tilapia or salmon fillets
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Mix Crusting Blend and almonds in shallow bowl. Mix honey and orange
juice in small bowl. Brush fillets with honey mixture. Coat evenly on
both sides with Crusting Blend mixture. Place on foil-lined shallow
baking pan. Discard any remaining Crusting Blend mixture.
3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Mediterranean Crusted
Chicken
With minimal preparation you can have a deliciously easy one-pan chicken
and potato dinner. Add a tossed salad to complete the meal.
2 pounds bone-in chicken parts
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1/2 cup McCormick Garlic, Lemon & Rosemary Crusting Blend
1 1/2 pounds small red potatoes, halved
Sea Salt using McCormick Sea Salt Grinder
McCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush chicken with 1 tablespoon of the oil.
Coat evenly on both sides with Crusting Blend. Place chicken on
foil-lined shallow baking pan. Discard any remaining Crusting Blend.
2. Toss potatoes with remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Sprinkle with sea salt
and pepper to taste. Place potatoes around chicken in pan
3. Roast 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are
tender.
