A few weeks ago, New York Carib News reported the news of the singer’s, Usher Raymond’s stepson, Kile Glover and his condition after a traumatic jet-ski accident. On July 6th, Glover was hit by a jet-ski while he was on an inner tube that was being pulled by a pontoon boat on Lake Lanier in Georgia. He was pronounced brain-dead. On Saturday, July 21st, the 11-year-old boy passed away; and just last Friday, Usher, his ex-wife, Tameka Foster and family and friends gathered in Atlanta to say their goodbyes.
“We know God’s in control. We are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now,” the family said in a statement to CNN.
The man driving the jet-ski that hit Kile and a 15-year-old girl was 38-year-old Jeffrey s. Hubbard, a friend of the family. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources conducted an investigation on the accident and ruled out alcohol as a causing factor.
Kile was on life-support for two weeks until his heart stopped.
Hubbard has not been charged with a crime.
