National Action Network plans to take its voter engagement campaign to PA

New York, NY (August 15, 2012)--Reverend Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN), and host of MSNBC's PoliticsNation, is calling the Judge's ruling in Pennsylvania "a slap in the face of democracy and a clear upholding of voter suppression." He and National Action Network plan to bring NAN's Voter Engagement campaign to PA in the immediate future and have been to Florida,Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio in the past 4 weeks. Rev. Sharpton and NAN will will rally people and assist churches and civil rights groups with getting their congregants and members to get identification.

Rev. Sharpton will discuss the PA ruling that suppresses voters and makes it harder for the elderly, poor, disabled and young to vote on his nationally syndicated radio show "Keeping it Real" from 1-4pm (stream can be seen on NAN's websitewww.nationalactionnetwork.net) and on his TV show tonight at 6 pm on MSNBC.
