This year's Friends of Mustard Seed Communities Annual Benefit Luncheon
will be highlighted by a spectacular fashion show entitled `Global
Fashion Connection: Africa - The Caribbean - America' . This year's
fashion showcase will be followed by dancing to the sounds of DJ Runna.
The event will be held on Sunday September 30th at the New York Hilton
Hotel Hotel; Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) @ 54th Street in New
York City, 3rd floor ballroom. A cocktail reception, luncheon, awards
presentation, silent auction starts at 12:30pm.

DESIGNERS
This year's crop of talented designers will include Senegalese born,
New York based fashion sensation OMAR SALAM, who will present his line
`Sukiena,' Los Angeles celebrity designer COCO JOHNSEN; Trinidad & Tobago
designer/artist DONNA DOVE; Mali and Guinea design team BEBENOIR;
Jamaican designer MICHAEL JEROME FRANCIS; young Jamaican menswear
designer DEMARO BROWN; Haitian designer DANYANNE DANIER will show
her line labeled `Ben Ayabe' and this year's show will introduce USA new
creative engenue MANDISA GLOVER, daughter of actor Danny Glover, who
will premier her `AMC Designs by Mandisa Glover' collection.

MODELS
Accessories to accentuate the collections will come from Angela
Theodora Handbags, exotic jewelry by Nathalie Lezama and assorted hats from designer `Smokey' for Churchill England and Mr Willie. Hair creations will come by way of
celebrated Grenadian hair expert Cecilia, of Salon Cecilia on
23rd Street and make-up will be executed by British Virgin Islands
Native Theo Faulkner. This will truly be an International production.
The high stepping cabine of models will include some of the best male
and female models on the International circuit including; Nykhore Paul,
Lene Hall, Coco Mitchell, Khashanna Evans, Jackie Love, Asia Monet,
Samantha Forbes, Cassandra Khan, Sabrina Ho Sang, Shanae Stratchan,
Dianne Johnson, Alonie Choice, Moses Sesay, Jessie Ruiz, Coral King, Kylie Greene and
the Palmer twins kids.

HONOREES
This year's honorees will be Mr Patrick Jolly, President Tower Isles
Frozen Foods; Dr. Kathie-Ann Joseph, MD, MPH Director, Breast Services
South Manhattan Network NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation NYU
Longone Medical Center and Rev. Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones, Priest
for Pastoral Care & Nurture, Trinity Church Wall Street. Rev.
Bozzuti-Jones will also be the Keynote Speaker for the event. Daphne
Mahoney is the Benefit Chair. Honorary Chairs are: Jamaica's Consul
General in New York Hon. Herman G. Lamont; Board Member Mustard Seed
