Jamaican choreographer brings explosive Dance Theater to Brooklyn | Jamaican-born choreographer, Courtney Ffrench dance, Vissi Dance theater, Kumble Theater Brooklyn, Brahms "Bravo" Lafortune, check your body at the door

On Friday October 19th and Saturday, October 20th, the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts presents Vissi Dance Theater 360: A Retrospection into the Future.

The Jamaican born dancer and choreographer Courtney Ffrench brings the explosive Vissi Dance Theater to Brooklyn, at the Kumble Theater it its inaugural concert. The event will also include guest performances by Conrad Rochester of the dance collective Loft Practice; Brahms “Bravo” LaFortune, the Haitian-born dancer in the Check Your Body at the Door documentary and project; and Scott Wiley of the Afro Mosaic Soul dance collective.

The Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts is located at One University Plaza, Brooklyn, New York on the corner of Flatbush and Dekalb Avenues. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children, students and seniors with ID, and are available at Kumbletheater.org. The show starts at 7:30pm on both nights.
