CaribFilm, a division of CaribBEING, a film non-profit in Flatbush whose mission is to “build community through the lens of Caribbean cinema and art,” presents the 3rd Annual Flatbush Film Festival: West Indian Edition.

CaribBEING brings 11 classic and contemporary Caribbean films in 7 nights throughout 3 cinemas from October 25th through November 14th, 2012. The selections will be shown at Maysles Cinema, TriBeca Cinema, and Brooklyn Heights Cinema.

The festival line-up is led by Horace Ove’s film Pressure at the Maysles Cinema on 343 Lenox Avenue, New York, on October 25th. Viewers can also expect the film by Trinidad & Tobago director Roger Alexis, which was brought back this year by popular demand, I’m Santana. An episode from the animated series by Jamaicans Anieph and Alison Latchman, Cabbie Chronicles is also included in the festival.
