Sixteen delegates competing for the upcoming "Miss Universe" pageant will join forces and walk in a spectacular fashion show for a good cause. The show is organized by Operation Smile Nicaragua, and the much needed funds from the event will go towards building an Attention Center for children, teens and adults suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate diseases. The fashion extravaganza will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in Managua, Nicaragua on October 19 and all proceeds will go towards helping these unfortunate victims, mainly the children.

The "Miss Universe" pageant will be held in Las Vegas on December 19th and this will be the first pre-pageant gathering of some of this year's favorite contestants. They will all model creations from famous Latin designers: Fabrizio Giannons, Edwardo de las Casas and Mayda Cisreros. `Fashion For Smiles' will be highlighted by a specail guest appearance by the reigning "Miss Universe" Leila Lopes who is from the African nation of Angola.

Participating in the lavish runway presentation are: "Miss Bahamas Universe" Celeste Marshall; "Miss Costa Rica Universe" Nazareth Casante; "Miss Canada Universe" Sahar Biniaz; "Miss Colombia Universe" Daniela Alvarez; "Miss Honduras Universe" Jennifer Andrade; "Miss Bolivia Universe" Yessica Mouton; "Miss Brazil Universe" Gabriela Markus; "Miss Eucador Universe" Carolina Aguirre; "Miss El Salvador Universe" Ana Yancy Clavel; "Miss Guatamala Universe" Laura Godoy; "Miss Mexico Universe" Karina Gonzalez; "Miss Nicaragua Universe" Farah Eslaquit; "Miss Panama Universe" Stephanie Vander Werf; "Miss Paraguay Universe" Egni Eckert; "Miss Peru Universe" Nicole Fareron and "Miss Puerto Rico Universe" Bodine Koehler.
