Dominican Republic Full Steam Ahead for 2010

Puerto Plata on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, has been full steam ahead in 2010 with varying concepts in accommodations, new vacation destinations and exciting international culinary offerings within the Dominican Republic.

In the last six months alone, Lifestyle Holidays Vacation has launched two exciting new brands; Dream Suites by Lifestyle and Presidential Suites by Lifestyle. Both concepts have commenced in conjunction with LHVC’s strategic partnership with Spain based Globalia, Corporation at locations in Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, and Bavaro. Additionally, LHVC also introduced the new Executive Spa Suites by Lifestyle in Puerto Plata to complement both its Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort offering in Puerto Plata and the introduction of its Presidential Suites at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort there in late 2009.

Also this year, LHVC introduced in Puerto Plata, AZUL, its new gourmet restaurant and Anja’s Lounge, both located on the top floor of the Lifestyle Tower within the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort with amazing views of the surrounding area. A new exciting concept mixing French cuisine with down home New Orleans cooking was also developed and coined ‘French Fusion’ with the launch of a new restaurant appropriately named Jazz. The talented international culinary A-team, headed by Director of Food and Beverage Fadi Hamad and Executive Chef Manny Slomovits, oversees a combination of 10 themed restaurants (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Seafood, Gourmet, French Fusion and Buffet) and seven bars.

The Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort in Puerto Plata features six distinct developments, including The Tropical, The Crown Suites, The Crown Villas, The Residence Suites, the Executive Spa Suites and Presidential Suites. New upcoming projects in Puerto Plata include Costa Esmeralda by Lifestyle, Center Court by Lifestyle and The Level by Lifestyle, as well as further growth of the strategic alliance with Globalia Corporation in Punta Cana and elsewhere in the Dominican Republic.
